I'm a heavy business traveler and my company has an office /warehouse and I'm in Guangzhou every two months. Have reveiw other option for lodging and the Grand Royal may not be the cheapest as many in the area. BUT for a five star Hotel is great, the business traveler has a western buffet for B'fast and they have 24 hour room service. Try to rent their suite rooms that are two restroom, king size bed, two TV's, ref with 2 -water and 3 soda's free daily. These are extra that help make a hotel easlier to stay. they also have non-smoking floor. They have better rate if you book 30 days in advance ref their web site.
